“I’ve worked on both sides of the funding relationship.”
Lauren came up through nonprofit grant work, so she understands tight budgets, competing priorities, and what it takes to get a proposal out the door.
She has also worked inside corporate giving programs at companies including Apple and Patagonia. That perspective helps her think about proposals through the lens of how funders evaluate priorities, partnerships, and fit.
Most importantly, she gets curious about the work. The goal is to understand the program well enough to communicate what makes it worth funding, not simply drop information into a template.
Practical, collaborative, and built around fit.
The process starts with understanding where your organization is today, then building the right level of support around it.
